The Baby is an item that can be obtained through marriage, not to be confused with the baby life stage of a Villager. A player may alternatively purchase a Sirben baby from cultists, though it will not be considered player's child unless the player adopts them.

In order for a player to have a baby with their spouse they must go to the "Talk" tab and select procreate. After spinning for a moment and emitting heart particles, a baby boy, baby girl, or a set of multiple babies will be added to the player's inventory.

The player's spouse will refuse to have a baby with them if they are under 100 hearts. Additionally, after having a baby the default cooldown until another can be had is 72000 ticks, or 62.5 minutes.

Both the procreation cooldown and the likelihood of having twins or triplets can be edited in config.

Right clicking while holding the baby will open a UI where the player will be able to name the baby.
